WSN Launches Direct Ship Compliance Module

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, August 5 - Wine industry technology leader WSN Systems Corporation announced today the launch of a powerful Direct Ship Compliance (DSC) portal for wineries and retailers. Built entirely in Java, the DSC module can successfully process hundreds of thousands of transactions a day.

In an easy to use format and structure, the DSC module helps wineries and licensed retailers manage all their direct ship compliance reporting. All state reports can be generated in either excel or pdf format, and are mapped into the system in the exact specifications and layout that each state requires.

The system provides automatic reminders to users about when reports for various states are due, and then reminds users again when they log in that certain reports are pending and need to be filed. The system has APIs built in, and can be integrated with any number of different systems.

The DSC module will be fully integrated with the FORT System ecommerce platform, which will enable critical compliance checks before orders are processed. The failure to check orders before processing has been a problem with other, stand-alone compliance modules, since common rules like volume restrictions, for example, cannot be caught at the shopping cart level. The FORT System solves this problem, catching volume restriction violations and other compliance issues before the order is allowed to be processed, thereby preventing costly and time consuming refunds and cancellations.
