WSN Launches Warehouse module
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, January 18 - WSN Systems Corporation announced today the launch of a warehouse fulfillment platform designed specifically for the wine industry. The platform provides all critical functionality a warehouse needs to provide fulfillment service to wineries, including compliance, reporting, invoicing, email notification to customers, and much more.
"After being on the IT side of the wine industry for several years, it became clear that there was no web-based fulfillment platform for warehouses to use," said Scott Liebman, president of WSN. "Basically, the choice for a system was between a home made Access data base, and a very expensive custom made platform that would start at several hundred thousand dollars."
WSN leveraged its many years of experience in the wine industry and began building its fulfillment platform, which is entirely web-based, and fully integrated with UPS, FedEx and Golden State Overnight. WSN's Warehouse module enables the fulfillment companies' winery clients to log in at any time to see inventory levels, check tracking numbers for any order, schedule deliveries, etc. The system also makes it easy for fulfillment companies to bill wineries by shipment type (club vs. daily shipments, for example), manage and charge separately for returns, generate monthly invoices, and much more.
WSN is also in the process of completing its Direct Ship Compliance module, which will be fully integrated into the warehouse module. This will allow fulfillment companies to provide compliance services to all of their winery and retailer clients. For more information, please contact WSN at info@wsncorp.com.
